Group Training for QBs
Small group training sessions are similar to individual training sessions, meaning the focus on the elemental steps of the Quarterback throw remains the focus. However, as participants in group training can vary in age, size and experience, the focus is not individualized. Assessment, drills and corrective movements are determined based on the needs of the overall group and tend to focus on each of the passing elements. In general, group training sessions include:
- Discussion (during stretch) of any goals each participant may have for training
- Record video and review with parent and player, pointing out points related to biomechanics and basic efficiency
- Teach and demonstrate drills to be used by the Quarterback during training
- Correction and redirection when needed
- Q&A re: any of the why/how of what was covered
Group training programs are available in NY and NJ during the off-season; and single group sessions are available in CT and MA. To receive notification of group training sessions, or additional details please sign up for our training communications.
