Team/Program QB Training
Team training sessions are overseen by CQB Director, Chris Johnston and/or Co-Director, Ryan O’Flaherty. Team training is held at your school or alternate preferred site, and is specific to your team’s offensive scheme or system. When requested, training can also be used to implement a new offensive scheme or system.
In general, training includes:
- Discussion (during stretch) of any goals Coach/Quarterbacks have for training
- When needed, review of offensive scheme and/or needs that can be applied during sessions
- Assessment of any obvious areas of improvement for the Quarterbacks
- Record video and review, and a Biomechanics Blueprint for all participating Quarterbacks
- Q&A re: any of the why/how of what was covered
- Creation of a Performance Action Plan for the program
Upon request, team training can also include: offensive staff collaboration and/or training; review of game and/or practice film; and/or impartial evaluation of team personnel .
Team training sessions can run for a varying amount of time, as it depends upon the number of athletes and the goals for each program. Sessions can also run across multiple days if necessary. The charge is typically set up based on the amount of QBs, and the length of time needed for the session(s).
